Damage Repairs began: May 19, 2010
Today's Date: June 24, 2010
Progress of Repairs:
- Completely inoperable geyer replaced with brand new one...CHECK
- Leaking pipe valve that burst while new geyser installation
- Baseboards replaced....CHECK (however, the guy didn't have enough to do the whole room, it took him 2 weeks to finally show up again and finish the job; therefore, the landlord told him to leave the one strip of baseboard that wasn't "damaged". Note-baseboards do not match. Nice!
- Door strips replaced...CHECK
- Flooring replaced...NEVER WILL BE CHECKED. Landlord doesn't want to spend that much money.
- Floor of office cleaned...CHECK
- Bathroom walls, floor, and appliances scrubbed and cleaned...CHECK
- Walls scraped and repainted (note: 1 in LR/DR, office, hallway, 1 in our BR)
- LR and DR are back to normal
- Office supplies moved back into closets...CHECK
- Furniture moved back into office
- Bathroom being used by human beings...CHECK
- Room feels "homey" again
