Shopping, Shopping

My dear friend, Stephanie Brown, was in "Christmas Post" put on at the Gillioz by Second. I can just see her now dressed in a nurse's costume and bouncing her hand up and down while singing "Shopping, Shopping". What a hoot!
That seems to be the theme for our lives these last couple of weeks. It is a very slow process that entails observing, bargaining, purchasing, waiting 1-2 weeks on the item to be built/made, and then delivered after 7pm.
However, we feel proud of ourselves that in just 1 more day, we will have something in the house other than kitchen appliances/supplies and a bed. Today we were able to purchase several linens and on Saturday, Krishna Furnishings will be delivering our sofas, guest room beds and mattresses, office desk, and office chair. We have also purchased a beautiful dining table and 6 chairs. However, the chairs will take a minimum of 20 days to make (out of stock).
We of course are still waiting on the plumber to show up to fix the leaky faucet with the part he has been waiting for for over 2 weeks now? Not sure about that one, but we definitely have much to be thankful for.
But until the house is complete....Shopping, Shopping!
