We went yesterday to look at the Toyota Innova that was available for us to possibly purchase. A good friend of ours came along and brought a mechanic to check the car out. It is in great condition, is really clean and nice in the inside, and we were so thrilled. We signed the paperwork, put a down payment on it, and will have to wait a few days for things to go through. We are so thankful though for how the Lrd has provided for us. This car is already registered in Gurgaon so that is one less thing we have to worry about and has only had one owner. Although thankful, the taxi situation was getting a bit stressful and expensive. So we are definitely ready to have our own set of wheels. We may not be totally ready to drive those wheels, but will just have to learn like everything else. So if everything goes well, by next week we should have our own car! (I meant to take the camera to take a picture but forgot). Click on the picture to watch an Indian commercial of our car. Oh dear! You are so right Andrea! Of course red or blue would have been absolutely perfect for me, but will take what we get. The color is silver with light tan interior. It also comes with really nice floor mats which is the first I've seen in most cars here!
