Springfield-Sookie-Snow

This winter has truly been an odd, long season. We finally got a bunch of ice and then a bunch of snow with which Sookie had no clue what to do with at first. Springfield cancelled school for almost a week after receiving 8-10 inches. Alicia was overjoyed and spent the week planning lessons, painting the kitchen, and coaxing Sookie to trust her in the joys of snow. All it took was throwing a snowball out into the yard. She jumped right out of the house and landed deep in the snow. She just stood there, snow above her head, and stared. It only took a few seconds for her to realize the pure bliss of cold, wet snow touching her fur and she immediately took off! 30 minutes later, we weren't sure if we had a dog or an abominable snow puppy! We could help, but thank the Lord for giving her this pleasure. Unless India starts getting snow, this will probably be her last opportunity. Let it snow, let it snow!
