It was so exciting for Alicia this Spring. For the first time at our own home, she was able to get her hands dirty and plant pansies and marigolds. It seems like such a simple task, but it is truly a task that is satisfying and soothing. In India, Mona Gupta use to talk about the flowers she planted and how much she loved them. For the first time, Alicia has begun to realize what beauty and love one can have when you plant flowers. There is something to be said for taking God's creation, starting from scratch, and watching life grow. If this is the way she feels about flowers, we can't even begin to think what a blessing it will be when we are given children.
